I’m a professional black female, born and raised in Oklahoma City. I get so sick of you bashing Oklahoma as if you’re from the big city. For those of you who may not know, Charles Barkley was raised and grew up in Birmingham, ALABAMA…need I say anymore. I would never insult your little small town, want to be big city, but your comments are arrogant and ignorant. You need to stop insluting women who may have problems with their weight, not everyone can afford Weigh Watchers like you and not everyone has the resources such as yours. I find your comments about my home state and your over weight comments hurtful and unforgivable. TNT, I maybe one small voice, but in numbers I can make a difference, and I will make a difference by reaching out to those I know to flood your email boxes and voice mails if these unacceptable comments do not stop. Charles, you need to learn from your fellow commentators, and be smarter with your comments, and less offensive to women across this country…after all it’s not just the women of Texas that your insulting, but all women. Weight Watchers and TNT should realize that their patrons and watchers are also from Oklahoma and Texas. We all can be one powerful voice against someone like Mr. Barkley.
