Rondo had a great behind the back fake pass and finished it with a dribble. Why wasn’t this ruled as palming ? (In the first quarter of game 4)

  2. Suzy Turner says:

You are right! His man parts! What did I say; not World Peace; genocide(no more children)! Love you! Tell it like it is! The Granny Nanny! What has happened to fair play!!

  3. bobby says:

I love you Charles but you are wrong Westbrook hit MWP in the back of the knee forcing him to go down on the knee!

  4. Lathan says:

as much as i admire the show you got the Artest comment about suspension wrong. If you look @ the replay Westbrook was going crazyand swung his arm and hit Artest in the back of the leg and caused his leg to buckle down. Please review the replay and if you agree offer an apology

  5. Larry says:

Charles you were wrong about world peace. Westwood hit the back of peace leg which.made him fall onto westwood. When you wrong you wrong.Look at the replay.please.

  6. Steven says:

World Peace was hit in the back of his leg by Westbrook!! That is why he fell on him. Watch the tape and you will see it clearly. He (World Peace) had no intent to land on Westbrooks manhood.

  7. Suzy Turner says:

What did I say! Man parts? It’s not World Peace; it’s genocide! No more children! Charles tell it like it is! What happened to fair play! The Granny Nanny!! Love you!!’. Go Thunder! “The Players with Integrity”!! Most of the time!!

  8. Mark Fabish says:

Hey Chuck tell Ernie there is something wrong with the set, you, Kenny and Dr. O’Neil have the right hair style….Ernie’s kidding himself!!!! Tell him to go bald….c’mon man!!!

  9. Stevemuscleburger says:

Go for it Chuck! Spell Condensate for Shaqs $1000!

  10. Bo Harlow says:

    Chuck,

For a chubby butt like yourself to talk about how miserable San Antonio is, you amaze me. We have more banners hanging than you ever imagined. It’s almost like you’re jealous cause you never played for an organization like the Spurs. They probably never would have put up with an overweight, mouthy player such as yourself. Down here, everybody has a role and plays the part. It’s never been about one individual, but about the team as a whole and putting banners in the rafters! BTW- give up golf, you stink!

    Sincerely,

    Bo

    • dogcasey says:

There is nothing wrong with Chuck expressing his point of view. It he weren’t so accurate and fascinating voicing his opinions, he would not be where he is. Let us know when you win multiple Emmy’s.

Nobody likes looking at an overweight women, and it’s too bad if you are one of them, or with one of them,, to feel you have to stick up for them, as it obviously hurts you. Take it from one who is NOT laughable size-wize. Get over it. Your new visual of America of overindulging as being acceptable is exactly what keeps it from being a crime. Keep it up Chuck. Tell it like it is!!!

      • csolis says:

what a rude and unintelligent comment frm a uneducated buffoon! TNT don’t bother to send him to San Antionio TX for the playoffs. nobody wants him to enter TEXAS! Don’t mess with TEXAS

      • Nancy Ochoa says:

What are you talking about we have beautiful women as all cities do ,Do you remember this is about basketball , get your head where it should to be in the game , And leave the cheap shots to Sir Charles, Ha!

  11. Suzy Turner says:

Poor World Peace! He’s like a marionette! He drops his right arm and his left arm went up like a see-saw! Sorry! Mr. Hardin, I didn’t mean to hit you in the side of the head! And my mouth wasn’t working, so that I could say I’m sorry!!!!

    • Suzy Turner says:

Let’s quit talking fat! If I lived in San Antonio , I would be working out everyday! I love Mexican food! My brother lived there, and when I visited, I ate only Mexican food!!! m-m-m. But I’m 67 and am still lifting weights with a trainer! 5’8; 135lbs. Strong!! You can eat and not be fat! I think that’s what Charle’s means! I see fat people and wonder why they don’t care; don’t say it’s medical or inherent, it’s their choice! I’m sure it upsets athletes when they see this! We all get older and put on weight! It’s up to us to do something about it!! Only ten percent of Americans work out over the age of 60! I believe it’s 15 after 50!! Wake up, and quit defending and making excuses for those overweight! Don’t like it, do something about it! Annnnd; basketball is changing! It’s a new world of managing and coaching! No more one man-two man teams! Everyone has a part to play! Hats off to OKC and their club! Owners, managers, coaches and to all the wonderful players who work together as a team! Now, that’s basketball! That’s what I’m talking about!!!

  12. kngjacb says:

yo charles the spurs swept up the hair and put the clipers down the barbershop is offically closed lmao

  13. Sunny says:

Obviously you don’t have as much class as the Spurs since you insist on insulting San Antonio, TX. Why don’t any of you (commentators) recognize the teams that go and congratulate at the end of the game? After tonight’s game, the entire Spurs team and the entire Clippers team went and congratulated each other. Now that’s class. I know the Clippers absolutely learned that one from Vinny Del Negro and he learned that from the Spurs. Talk about that instead of insulting San Antonio, TX.

  14. chucky says:

Charles i mus commend u look really magnificent im proud of ur hard work and dedication towards ur fiitness keep up da good work kiddo!

  15. Steve says:

Charles, you are one of my all time favorite basketball players and i wished you would’ve played for the pistons during the bad boys era….. i always wondered,if there was an opportunity for you to play with the bad boys during that time, would you?………and as far as this years playoffs, in your opinion which possible finals matchup would be more interesting…..spurs vs celtics, heat vs okc,?

  16. Monica says:

    Charles,
I can appreciate that everyone has their own opinion of things and the fact that we can express them, is what makes this country so great.

You are currently on Weight Watchers correct? So that must mean that you TOO have struggled with weight and you know exactly what the struggles are when overweight.

To help you turn your NEGATIVE commentary POSITIVE, I wanted to share the following about San Antonio:
    1) Men’s Fitness Magazine ranked San Antonio as the 25th Fittest City in America (Houston, Detroit, Cleveland and Memphis are the fattest). http://www.mensfitness.com/training/lose-weight/the-fittest-and-fattest-cities-in-america?page=2
    2) 108 salad are were added in are public schools.
    3) 1.7 million in fitness equipment was added (walking trails and other enhancements invested in area parks.
    4) San Antonio B-Cycle is the second busiest in the nation. http://www.bcycle.com/buzz.aspx
    5) More than 40,000 area residents participate in Siclovia. http://siclovia.org/

Do your research Charles Barkely and focus on the great things of our city. Our nation has enough negative people out there.

P.S. Good luck on your weight loss goals. Can’t wait to see your feminine side come out on the next Weight Watchers magazine. (see how that works). :) Just sayin’.

  17. Anita says:

Congratulations on winning the sports emmy since talk is small which you have made famous! No NBA trophies or rings for you since game is Big just like games in San Antonio! San Antonio is the home of active duty and retired military warriors who have fought for your freedom of speech! We fight..we win! San Antonio Military City USA!!! WE are SA!!

  18. Bruce says:

I just wanted to Let Charles know that there are black men who wear cowboy boots, Fred Whitfield and Cory Solomon, these are 2 of the best in rodeo.

  19. MC says:

    Charles!
Many of us in San Antonio LOVE YOU!! One of the reasons is because of ya straight talk that is appreciated by some of us who don’t mind the truth even though it hurts sometimes. I wanna say SA is growing in it’s cultural diversity and there are lots of things to do. Just check out http://sacurrent.com/ and go to Luna nightclub if you like live soul & blues. Yes, we struggle with food, but we do cook pretty damn good down here. The city is trying more initiatives to get more people moving & healthy. Hope you go to Southtown and see how the “creek” is growing. Yes, it’s small, but I’ve never seen a creek as beautifully decorated as ours. Also, THANK YOU for supporting our SPURS! I’m glad you always recognize greatness!
Kisses from the big girls with lotsa luv 4 yu baby!

  20. coach anthony says:

chuck, did nba players get away with as many travels and flops back in your day ?

  21. billy says:

I think the wade&lebron show did great aginst ind,but its next game if they dont use all five players instead of just wade and lebron they will lose a very important game 5 lakers also look like they will be gon fishin with the clippers tonight, hope its not the truth get it the truth go boston

  22. Kc Buch says:

hey Chuck wanna know do u think the series would be different if LA Lakers would have kept Lamar? I do.

  23. Michelle L says:

Charles, don’t you know, EVERYTHING’S bigger in Texas! Some of us are excited that you’re visiting the lone star state! =D

  24. Charles Hood says:

Charles, You keep sayin you cant wait to get to san antonio cause u know theres no way they could win more then 2 games VS the Thunder. Ibaka will be the Xfactor of that series. And you can quote me on that…….

  25. Charles Hood(MIA) From N.O says:

Charles, like i tell my cousin everyday, the celtics is the past like the lakers & Dallas. in some cases its good o have that vetern leadership but if you have 3 and all of them is on your starting roster.I see they cant run the floor like the young miami heat. Everytime I turn the TV on my fav TV Show ESPN are NBA on TNT I hear who is the pressure on the most/ Lebron or D wade. Its on both of them. Stop tearing us down cause we have the best team ever in nba history after the jordan era.

  26. Charles Hood(MIA) N.O says:

Charles, how you gon talk about the heat. Charles you never was considered one of the best players in the nba or on a winning team. Charles, how many rings you have sir. Lol?
Every time u say something so stupid I just think about shaq beating u up. Bum

  27. Charles Hood(MIA) N.O says:

The next cover of anything they put your face on should say.

I got payed to get dunked on and never winning in the playoffs, now I get payed to talk bad about players in the nba that’s way past my hole career as a nba player. I should be happy to have a job talking about a sport I didn’t dominate.

  28. Arlene K says:

Love you Chuck but no one was more whiny than you. Leave our Miami Heat alone. We do not feel like we are better than anyone. We are all about amazing basketball. No need to wear boxing gloves. let’s just play the game and see what happens.

  29. Jeff Jernberg says:

Miami is always whining all the time, what a bunch of babies. And dwade has to go to IU to find a coach cause there ain’t one on Miami’s bench.

  30. Jeff Jernberg says:

If Hansbrough woulda hit Haslem the way Haslem hit Hansbrough it woulda been a Flagrant 2, what a rip-off.

  31. Charles Hood(MIA) N.O says:

We wine (lmao) destint for greatness! We understand by us being a power house with 3 of the best players in the nba scare people. I always agreed with you In some cases when u make sence. But I see you one of our haters to. I could see if u was micheal Jordan or shaq. But I don’t remember u having any ring nor if u have playoff experience. I could do your job better then u could and u know the game cause u was a player.(REMEMBER I SAID ONE OF THE PLAYERS, I DIDN’T SAY YOU SHOWED DOMINATCY.
And now you know how hard us heat fans get behind our team.

  32. tj jacks says:

hey chuck im a big fan…could u plz come and coach the atlanta hawks. we need someone who dont hold punches

  33. Don L says:

I love NBA Live. You’ll are just great.I love your show.. Best Sports show on T.V. GO LSU Tigers.

  34. Don L says:

Love Your show.Charles don’t let them give you a hard time.Go LSU Tigers.

  35. Chriatopher says:

I live in SA and agree with most of Chuck’s comments about the city. Only comment missing would have been “Instead of Remember the Alamo, it should be Remember the Ala Mode!”

  36. Pat says:

Sir Charles and his buddies @ TNT are the greatest with a perspective that speaks to the hard fouls, hood rat fouls, flop fouls, and someone speaking up for the real truth of the NBA. They unwind the tension from watching poor refs, poor players, and bush league games. They celebrate the good plays. Always speak your mind.

  37. alleyoopal says:

waaasssssup! Mound Round of Rebound! There’s a Silent Giant Roaming in Texas somewhere near the Alamo! Okc watchout Tim Duncan is the Silent Giant!

  38. BOBBY BONILLA says:

It’s great to hear you speak about the legends – i’ve never heard this said by anyone – but if you get your guys to gather some film of BOB COUSY – you will be amazed by a comparison with MANU GINOBILI – size the same – coloring the same – even the bald spot outback – the tenacity for defense – the chest high push shot on the run – their doggedness under the basket. the likeness to me is errie – but great great great. and thank you charles for ginobili’s shoutouts

  39. Erskine says:

from spfld ma. got a great idea .get at me your the one I want to throw this at.

  40. Gerob says:

You always refer to LBJ as the best player in the world. I have a lot of respect for you but i disagree with that statement. It easy to be great when other players arent allowed to guard you because the league is determine to protect its so called stars. The NBA is not Hollywood players like LBJ that use the *FLOP* not sometime but every play is a disgrace to the league. I really feel that the league need to allow basketball play to play the game equal, not because your a so called star. It took Michael Jordan almost 12 yrs to make the money that most play complain about now who protected him, and even more who protected you. I really thank the league is soft now with too many bulls**t players. The fans really the fans want to see equal play for equal pay lets play the by the rules not by ownership trying to protect their investment. Really who cares if he gets hurt, hard foil, are springed akle that the game right the ref should not be allow to determine who score. or win the game based on star status. Lets get real the NBA is so predictable now its funny. THE LEAGUE NEED MORE KG’s player that show up to play basketball ever night weather its a good or bad night play the game hard right. Thank much respect to you Charles

  41. BOBBY BONILLA says:

Q: CHUCK – DID YOU HEAR ‘BOUT THE THREE LEGGED DOG THAT BUSTED THRU THE FRONT DOOR OF A SALOON IN SAN ANTONE? THE BARTENDER SAID – CAN I HELP YOU? AND THE DOG SAID ” I’M LOOKING FOR THE MAN WHO SHOT MY PAW . . .”

  42. BOBBY BONILLA says:

DURING THE PANELS COMPARISONS TO OTHER BIG MEN – I THOUGHT ABOUT A THOUGHT THAT I’VE HAD FOR MANY MANY YEARS. I BELIEVE THAT SHAQ WAS THE BEST EVER BIG MAN: HE TRULLY WAS ON THE COURT A GENTLE GIANT. HIS SIZE ALONE – LET ALONE HIS ATHLETIC ABILITY AND HIS STRENGTH – SHAQ COULD HAVE DOMINATED THE GAME SO BAD – MANY MANY PLAYERS COULD HAVE BEEN HURT. HE TRULLY PROVED TO MANY HIS TRUE GREATNESS OF HIM WAS HOLDING BACK HIS DOMINATION. ARTIS GILMORE IS A FRIEND OF MINE AND I LISTENED TO HIM WHEN HE SAID THE GREATEST BIG MAN EVER: WAS WILT & SHAQ (and maybe him). AND THE GREATEST POWER FORWARD EVER: WAS BILL RUSSELL & TIM DUNCAN. I AGREE.

  43. Michelle says:

Charles… Shut your mouth… . Yo momma so fat when she walks around Texas in high heels, she strikes oil! Go back to fat city in Alabama!

  44. Charles, I just had to tell you how much better you look with your dieting and attire matching. Keep doing what you are doing…you look and sound good.
