T.O is a hall of fame receiver. He will be playing for a playoff team this season.

There’s only one team that I could see taking a chance on T.O, and that’s the Patriots. Besides their TE’s, they lack an imposing WR and T.O has the size and experience to make a positive impact on the field. I don’t see T.O wanting to play for a non-playoff caliber team- though, who knows what his financial situation is like.

While I think that Chuck is pretty spot-on with his opinion, I would have to disagree with his Michael Jordan measuring stick. Michael Jordan’s central role on the Bulls placed a tremendous amount of responsibility on him (both sides of the court), whereas a WR, no matter how dominant, doesn’t have to do a fraction of what Michael did. On this note, I think it’s much easier for a WR to come out of retirement and make a difference. T.O’s presence on the field could do just enough to free up some of the attention that Brady’s main targets are receiving. Will be interesting to see if he gets an opportunity.
