Charles, I disagree with the platitudes you’re bestowing on Kevin Love, watching him play a couple of games lately. He has a lot of range and he’s a good passer and blocker, for the pick and rolls. Only I offer Aldridge as a better example as the number power forward, because of his ability in getting the job done better than Love does.

Aldridge can run the floor in nothing flat, and either block a shot or shot and score and make it look so easy. Every team that plays the Blazers needs to prepare special ways – like double teaming or zoning him – only nothing works he still manages to average, what? His 14 to 20 points a night and 8 -12 rebounds, and 4-6 assists.

Okay, so Love has lost weight – probably joined Jenny’s Weight Watcher huh? No, he does look good and it no doubt will make him more mobile in the post, which he still lacks the skills to achieve that goal. (He left UCLA to early for pete’ssake.) Does Love deserve his shot at being an All-Star? Well, duh, sure he does. Anybody who gets the recognition deserves a shot – but Love’s work ethic needs to be elevated – I would suggest he work – in the off-season- with several retired centers and forwards – who can teach him some new tricks. I actually like Love’s bubbly persona and attitude. Right now I don’t think he \’s the best, Power Forward in the NBA but would never deny h is potential to achieve that goal.

Right now Aldridge is the Man.
